Research Compendium (Coming soon)
The value of good research and the role it can play in selling advertising is obvious. However, research can often be time-consuming and costly, and it’s usually a question of costs versus benefits to justify undertaking a research project at all.
Part of the solution lies in harnessing the potential of the egta network. By sharing existing research between members (and only members), sales houses can avoid “recreating the wheel” and the accompanying labour and costs. The benefits are multifold:
- Save time, costs and labour
- Share best-practices between peers who fight similar battles every day
- Get inspiration from research and arguments you had never considered
- Potentially pool resources and embark on joint projects with others who share similar goals.
Within this research compendium initiative, egta will create an inventory of existing research that proves the effectiveness of television (whether that is qualitative or quantitative). This inventory will be formatted into a user-friendly, accessible online interface that optimises the benefits amongst members, while also permitting the database to grow and evolve.
Another component of the research compendium will be a small research wish list provided by egta members of research projects your sales house has not yet tackled but is potentially interested in, especially if resources could be pooled at European level to help finance such projects.
It is important to note that the Resesarch Compendium will be available to egta members only, and more specifically, to those egta members who have contributed. We thank you in advance for your contribution to this egta initiative.
